In phase 1 of HISPC, the Maine team completed the work summarized above. In phase 2, each state implemented a state-specific project and planned for multi-state collaboration in phase 3. Maine's phase 2 project developed language that addresses opt-in/opt-out issues within the state's health information exchange. Maine also collaborated with New Hampshire to determine minimum common data sets for the exchange of mental health and public health information.
