In phase 1 of HISPC, the Ohio team completed the work summarized above. In phase 2, each state implemented a state-specific project and planned for multi-state collaboration in phase 3. Ohio's phase 2 project produced two major products: a model permissions form for state of Ohio for the purpose of gaining patient consent to share their data electronically and a standards-based role-based access project which recommended the adaptation and adoption of the Minnesota State Framework to Ohio and the inclusion of additional specific recommendations.
