This project documented, studied, and reported the engagement of six primary care practices that use electronic health records that were linked to the Secure Medical Records Transfer Network through a local data repository.
Implemented a HIPAA-compliant electronic records system to improve public health, patient safety and facilitate information sharing among health care providers in the Talequah area, with the goals of establishing a Web-based information and referral service and creating a community-wide, science-based prevention strategy supported by the new information system.
Develops a patient Master Visit Registry (MVR), addressing the need for better information sharing among clinical organizations and enhancing their ability to give patients continuous high-quality care when they change providers.
