Description: This research will adapt an existing interoperable clinical decision support (CDS) tool for prevention of venous thromboembolism (VTE) to those with traumatic brain injury, scale it using an implementation strategy called SCALED (Scaling AcceptabLE cDs), and evaluate that approach to ensure that CDS tools are based on the most current evidence.Principal Investigator: Tignanelli, Christopher J., Melton-Meaux, GenevieveProject Dates: August 05, 2022 to July 31, 2025

Description: This research worked with orthopedic surgeons and their patients on patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) and found that patients prefer simple tools around individualized goals; that text reminders improve response rates for PROMs; and that, while surgeons perceive that aggregate PROMs reports have value, provision of performance comparison reports did not improve outcomes over a 5-month period.Principal Investigator: Solberg, LeifProject Dates: September 30, 2017 to July 31, 2023
