508 Compliance - General Information

Do not use animations or special effects
Use the "Slide Master" to apply styles to all slides, not individually.
Do not use visual cues as the sole means of communicating information (e.g. color, position, text-based "smileys", etc.) such as maps or graphs with different colors/shades representing density of various poluation.
Make sure your presentation can stand alone (with graphics, tables, charts, etc.) and still be understood.
Do not assume that the people reading your presentation, or making it 508 compliant, have a similar background... Describe it if there is any doubt!
URLs are fully written out (i.e. http://www.google.com/ NOT google.com) and point to the correct pages.
Do not use click zones.
Use File Properties, fill in the fields for Title, Author, Subject, and Keywords.
