AHRQ Conference Grant Program (R13)

Using a conference model, this study convenes a multidisciplinary group of experts to explore the integration of human factors engineering approaches in the implementation of artificial intelligence in healthcare, providing an opportunity for ongoing collaboration and research to disseminate knowledge and implement best practices that enhance efficiency, prevent provider burnout, and ultimately improve healthcare quality, safety, and value.

This conference convenes interdisciplinary experts from the United States and abroad to define priorities and goals for researching technology use in Long-Term Post-Acute Care (LTPAC), and to identify factors that support or hinder its adoption in LTPAC settings, aiming to promote safer, higher quality, more accessible, and equitable LTPAC globally.

This conference grant will support a multidisciplinary Think Tank to develop and disseminate telehealth best practices, training curriculum recommendations, and policy recommendations to support equitable and sustained telehealth access in the State of Michigan.

This project established a 10-year research agenda for precision emergency medicine, defined as the targeted use of big data and technology to deliver acute care effectively to individuals and their communities.

This effort will convene a workshop entitled “Workshop to Inform Technology Innovation and Research for Medicaid Programs” to identify challenges faced by Medicaid beneficiaries and programs that are amenable to technology, ideate prototype solutions, and disseminate the findings.

The annual Conference on Health Information Technology and Analytics brought together interdisciplinary stakeholders to share research; foster collaboration across academia, industry, and government; and support the next generation of researchers, producing actionable insights to improve healthcare quality, access, and efficiency.
