Health IT Survey Compendium
The Health IT Survey Compendium provides a centralized resource of publically available health IT surveys, many of which were developed by AHRQ-funded projects. Surveys may be used as is, serve as templates to create new surveys, or questions pulled out and used on their own.

Description: The project team successfully developed and implemented an automated system for measuring the rate of adverse drug events in pediatric patients.

Description: Developed, implemented, and evaluated a cooperative effort for using health IT to facilitate a continuum of appropriate medical and developmental care, from the time infants are admitted to Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs), through the transition process to community-based health care services for infants most at-risk for long-term neurodevelopmental problems.

Description: Planned, developed, and implemented health IT to assist local rural communities improve health care access, build local and regional resources to monitor the quality of health care, and expand the use of health IT educational, communication, and clinical applications.

Description: Intended to improve chronic care health management in Northern, Eastern, and Central Maine by planning for the standard exchange of clinical information for patient transitions from acute to non-acute care.

Description: The Indiana Network for Patient Care, an operational health information exchange (HIE) in central Indiana, is one of six AHRQ sponsored State and Regional demonstration projects begun in late 2004 and early 2005 to create State or regional HIEs.

Description: This project planned the development of an integrated health IT system to improve rural access to health care and identified key issues to improve patient safety and quality of care, including analysis of the cost-benefit of technical solutions.

Description: This project developed a comprehensive plan for health IT implementation and integration by assessing specific clinical and organizational needs, feasibility of health IT implementation, defining project parameters, developing the implementation plan, and specifying procedures for ongoing evaluation and feedback.

Description: This project was designed to evaluate and improve the quality of screening and diagnostic colonoscopies in ambulatory care settings. Defined quality measures for colonoscopy were used in individual quality report cards with 15 measures created.
