The AMIA Health Policy Invitational Meetings address cutting edge and complex topics at the intersection of health care and informatics with the goal to identify challenges with current policies, make recommendations for future policies, and identify research needs for advancing the topic of focus.
This project helped to identify the impact of Meaningful Use incentive payments on dentists serving Medicaid-eligible children and how these payments might expand access to quality oral health care for children enrolled in Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
An asthma outcomes workshop was held in order to establish standards and identity outcomes measures for asthma clinical research.
