Utilized existing health IT standards to integrate the current stand-alone databases and information systems of a consortium of three rural health care systems as the basis for creating a comprehensive electronic health record for patient care.
Integrated existing health IT technology software and systems among a three-hospital consortium to create a shared electronic record that ultimately gave providers access to real-time data and the ability to electronically prescribe medications. The goals of the project were to reduce medical errors, improve the quality of patient care, increase patient satisfaction and lower costs.
This is a questionnaire designed to be completed by nurses, physicians, and hospital staff in an inpatient setting. The tool includes questions to assess user's needs of electronic health records.
