AHRQ hosted a panel discussion on the use of visualization tools within a digital healthcare system to improve cognitive processes, workflows, and the patient experience. During the webinar, expert speakers shared findings from their own research on how to best use data visualization to improve care.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the development and implementation of an application that displays real-time visualizations of PRO data during clinical encounters for patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
  2. Describe creation and testing of intuitive health data visualization and explain how the visualization tools lead to better-informed patients and improved care decisions.
  3. Discuss the development and evaluation of a shared decision making dashboard for presenting individualized risks of harm from a drug-drug interaction.
