This study tested the effectiveness of the BREASTChoice breast reconstruction clinical decision support tool on decision quality, surgical choice, and shared decision making. Findings from the use of the tool showed improved patient knowledge and reduced immediate breast reconstruction following mastectomy.
This study will integrate a previously piloted risk tool and clinical decision aid, MammoScreen, with an EHR to provide personalized decision support for both patients and clinicians to improve quality of care for women who are at increased risk for breast cancer.
This study will develop and establish the efficacy of an actionable predictive model to identify pregnant individuals at high risk for postpartum hemorrhage which can be used in combination with a clinical decision support tool to reduce the risk of hemorrhage-related morbidity and improve maternal health outcomes.
