This study will evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of providing chronic intestinal failure patients and their family caregivers with direct access to live, virtual, multi-disciplinary (multi-D) support and education on best practices from a team of experts and peers. Such support can improve patient outcomes by enhancing knowledge, increasing confidence in self-care, and fostering a support network where patients can share lived experiences.

This study will develop a prototype guide for the safe and effective integration of ambient digital scribes into primary care, providing insights into how this artificial intelligence-driven technology transforms workflows while addressing critical safety, equity, and burnout concerns in diverse healthcare settings.

This research will develop, implement, refine, and evaluate an app to support clinical decisions for ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction care in rural areas by emergency medical services providers, reducing the time between first medical contact and reperfusion therapy to reduce morbidity and mortality, and improve health outcomes.

This research will enhance an augmented reality headset used to provide real-time feedback on pediatric chest compressions. Researchers will evaluate the usability and user experience of the augmented reality cardiopulmonary resuscitation tool in an international multicenter randomized simulation study, with the aim of improving the quality of chest compressions and saving lives.

This research will culminate in a randomized controlled trial of the Peer PLUS (People Leveraging Urgent Support) mobile app and companion web-based platform that supports communication between those with substance use disorder and peer recovery coaches to determine if it contributes to long-term recovery for these individuals.
